Quote of the Day

There are moments when one has to choose between living one's own life, fully, entirely, completely - or dragging out some false, shallow, degrading existence that the world in it's hypocrisy demands.

When SHIT Hits The Fan…

Someone very wise said, “When shit hits the fan, it splatters all over the place.” Or something like that, but we get the point. So recently, life’s been a lil’ bitch. Yes, I used an obscenity but it’s just to express my true feelings. The past week of school has been really stressful, and I hope everything turns out well.

So first of all, I get to represent my school, Francis Lewis in the District Attorneys office, once a month. This is a great opportunity for me, if I want to become a lawyer, or go in that field, which I do. But that’s exactly when THE SHIT HIT THE FAN!!! See in the beginning, I was going to miss my math class once a month and everything seemed to work out well. But then the head of the math department believed it wouldn’t be right if I missed it once a month. ONCE A MONTH I REPEAT. I can’t blame him, but what he doesn’t know is that I’m an A student. Last year my average in math was a 99. This year I’m doubling up and taking two math classes. Don’t you think I could handle missing 1 day of class. But you can’t entirely blame him; he probably has to treat all students equal. So this morning, I go to him. First of all, some stupid parent was arguing with him because he didn’t put the kid in honors math. People need to learn that their children aren’t always perfect. After that when he does talk to me, he goes to the Program office and starts talking to the teachers there. Whether or not he was talking about students, I shall never find out, but he did spend like 30 minutes in there. That time wasn’t all waste coz me and this hot girl were just talking and chillin’, if you know what I mean. Pretty amazing how two people can have a good conversation when both of them are waiting for a teacher to talk to them. So 4 minutes left in the period, I go in there and tell him I have an idea. He accepts the idea, and that’s the end of that. I was going to tell him about the idea 30 minutes ago, but he thought it had too many teachers involved. But finally you know, he accepted, and I’m all jolly and happy. So I tell my law teacher about this. She’s happy; it looks good, till the 4th or 5th period. I get a sheet saying that I have my PSAT’s on 18th of October. Looks like a random date for all you guys, but what do you know, it’s the same date as the first meeting in the District Attorney’s Office. Yup, that’s right, the same freaking date, they had 31 days to chose from, but they had to chose the same day as that. As mentioned before, life’s a lil’ bitch.

So now I sit here, tired from gym and school, waiting and wondering what will happen tomorrow when I tell my teacher about the PSAT thing. I think the DA should change the date, because it’s not only my school, but many schools from New York. But you never know what will happen. So wish me luck guys… wish me luck.

I’ll keep you all updated, and I apologize for no new articles, but schools keeping me really busy and I’m just too lazy on the weekends. I’ll try to squeeze, “Porn vs. Morality” in this weekend.

Update: Guys, it all worked out. See my PSAT’s probably start at 8 and carry on till 12. I have to leave school at 1PM. So I have a difference of 1 hour. Plus the class I have during that time is Gym. So no studies for the whole day. WOOHOO!!!
