Quote of the Day

There are moments when one has to choose between living one's own life, fully, entirely, completely - or dragging out some false, shallow, degrading existence that the world in it's hypocrisy demands.

This article doesn’t even deserve a blog article for itself. It’s just too much of a ridiculous thing. I’m angry at the Airport Security and the Flight Company for letting this happen. How could you, honestly?

First of all, it’s your fault, accept it. It’s agreeable that you are allowed in the terminal if you have a ticket. But after that, everything which happened were series of mistakes.

“The airline official started drumming on her keyboard. There seemed to be some problem. She resumed typing again,” he recounted.

“She looked up and asked me if I had baggage to check in. When I said no, she asked my seat preference, and I asked for an aisle seat.”

For the Love that you have for the country - please have better employees! I mean this lady was clearly not at her best performance (hopefully it wasn’t, because if it was, boy are we screwed). Second thing, who wants the aisle seat? Clearly the window seat is much better, you get to see outside. Common Man, stay with me here.

Aviation analyst Kapil Kaul said Mr Srinivas’s case appeared to be a “rare” one caused by an absent-minded passenger.

What really pisses me off and presses my buttons is the above statement. I mean sure the customer made a mistake, but you have no right to call him “absent minded”. It’s not their fault, it’s the airline’s fault. Let’s say this was not an “absent minded” customer but a terrorist. Would the employee still make the same mistake? This could be a threat to national security. It’s just really stupid to blame it on the customer when in fact its pretty much your fault. This was a lucky chance that it was just a good customer, not trying to blow anything up.

A lot of times, when India does something stupid, I always try to defend them saying it happens, but if they keep making such stupid mistakes, I don’t know how much longer I can go. You make me feel ashamed!!!
