I’m going to start this post with a little joke. Before you close this page, just read the joke, it’s worth it. It’s hilarious and eye opening at the same time. And I promise, I’m not going to JUST post the joke. There’s some original content at the end as well.
I recently picked a new primary care doctor.
After two visits and exhaustive lab tests, he said I was doing “fairly well” for my age.
A little concerned about that comment, I couldn’t resist asking him, “Do you think I’ll live to be 80?”He asked, “Do you smoke tobacco, or drink beer or wine?”
“Oh no,” I replied. “I’m not doing drugs, either!”Then he asked, “Do you eat rib-eye steaks and barbecued ribs?
I said, “No, my former doctor said that all red meat is very unhealthy!”Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing golf, sailing, hiking, or bicycling?”
“No, I don’t,” I said.He asked, “Do you gamble, drive fast cars, or have a lot of sex?”
“No,” I said.He looked at me and said, “Then, why do you even give a shit?”
Reading the joke and the title, I think you’ll be able to figure out what my message here is. It’s to cherish life and make it worthwhile. What is life? Life is just an interval to death. We live our life cautiously but what for? To live to 80? Why do we care more about living to 80 when in reality we haven’t done anything with those years? The person for example, he lived life mundanely, not eating his favorite food, not drinking any booze, not living life, just to live life. It’s all about thought. In the long run we’re all going to die (hopefully) yet we try to live longer instead of living better.
Each day we make decisions and for the most of us, they’re to prolong life. There are so many people who are so health conscience they’re worse than anorexics. Each day we save money to spend it in the future, but we can’t use that money when we’re too old to do any of the stuff. On a pure personal selfish basis, we just prolong life for no purpose. We don’t enjoy it. We keep thinking of the future while not living in the present at all. I’m not saying that thinking of the future is bad, but the way today’s generations and future generations look like they will be living, it might just become.
Enjoy life, play in the sun and don’t worry about skin cancer. Use your cell phones for hours without caring about cancer. God darn, everything causes cancer nowadays. I’ve pretty much given up on stopping this cancer. I’ll continue to talk on my cell phone, will go outside without sunscreen with 5 billion chemicals. If I do die by cancer, at least I’ll die a happy man whose lived life.
I’ll leave you with this famous quote:
Our lives are not measured by the number of breaths we take, but the times that take our breath away.

Every now and then you come across a competition which is just too good to miss. One such competition would be at The Prize Blog. What makes this competition so good is that it gives away free stuff in one specific genre but in different ones. For example, it gives you paypal cash, a MP3 player and blog linking with lots of traffic.
The best part about it is that you don’t need myspace and stuff like that. All you need to do is a few simple steps which can’t take you more than 3 minutes (I’m at 2 minutes and 30 seconds)
Check it out, it’s worth it.
