society has always chained people’s behavior and altered their choices: everyone try not to be the radical who violates the social norm, which causes many people to make choices that adhere those norms. For those radicals who try to break the shackles, they either get put down brutally, or get entirely isolated from the society.

Your writing has really taken off, I feel. This is very good. You’re at that age now where you begin to see the chains and try to break them…
Now, the critic… the idea itself is a little cliche, even though it’s true. In your case, however, your writing was passionate which is good. There were a few grammar glitches (for example, the second sentence… it’s not really a sentence.. it’s a phrase and shouldn’t be given a sentence of its own), but all your writing needs is a little bit of polishing now.
Gurdong’s last blog post..The results are in, the show’s over.

good stuff.
society will always hold us down. that’s what it does. if you don’t like it then leave. that’s the only way to get away from it’s opression. but, are the consequences of leaving society worth the freedoms that leaving grants? clearly they are not, because if they were then you’d have left. by remaining a part of society you are demonstrating that while you say you don’t like it’s shackling effects, the consequences of leaving are greater than the consequences of staying. so you remain, as we all do. do we really have a choice in the matter anyway? we can complain all we want; point out the fallacies of the people in power, look at the unfair pressures brought on by everyday life, stare at expectations we place upon our own heads, but in the end, what can we do but accept it and keep on going?

societies are different all over. while society itself is an oppressive institution, it is so in varying extremes across other cultures. maybe you don’t need to deinstitutionalize yourself completely because that might not only be too extreme but also impossible. a change of scenery or getting away from what you think troubles you could help. you’ll probably end up realizing that what you had isn’t so bad and want to come back.
so where can you leave to? simply anywhere.
